Island Hopper is a range of Scotch Whiskies from island and coastal distilleries, delivering maritime notes of salty sea spray and smoky aromas. This single malt was non-chill filtered and has a natural bright gold colour. On the nose it has aromas of earthy peat fires, smoked hay, seaweed and ripe melon. The smokiness is also present on the palate with flavours of barbecue wood chips, cigar box, sea spray, roasted pistachio nuts, citrus peel and sweet oat biscuits. It is completed with a long oily finish of oat cereal, cracked black pepper and tobacco leaf. This is an exclusive bottling for Baur au Lac Vins together with The Whisky Cellar. There are only 306 bottles of this exclusive whisky.
