Description
Only 950 bottles of Bladnoch Single Malt Whisky 30 Years were released worldwide, making it a true rarity. This limited edition whisky matured in a noble and rare combination of Oloroso sherry and Moscatel casks. The long maturation process gives it a fascinating bouquet of floral notes, dried apricots and nutmeg. On the palate, it reveals a rich aroma of almonds and marzipan, accompanied by an intense flavour of ripe Seville oranges. The finish surprises with a light, fruity note and a hint of black pepper, which gives the flavour a special depth.

Gelten die Inseln und das Hochland mit ihren idyllischen Landschaften als Imageträger der Single Malt-Kultur, so sind die dicht besiedelten Lowlands das industrielle Herz Schottlands. Doch auch hier konnte der Niedergang der Whisky-Kultur in den letzten Jahren gestoppt werden. Rund ein halbes Dutzend Destillerien, die sich grösstenteils in den nördlichen Lowlands unweit der Metropolen Glasgow und Edinburgh befinden, sind heute wieder tätig und produzieren mehrheitlich leichte und sehr ausgewogene Brände.
