Miltonduff Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 9 years 2012
Speyside, The Whisky Cellar, 750 ml
Producer: | The Whisky Cellar |
Origin: | United Kingdom / Highland-Speyside |
Description
This Miltonduff was matured for around 8 years in a first-fill American oak sherry cask and then "finished" for over a year in first-fill European oak. This "double sherry cask" maturation method has produced a strong, rich, full-bodied and stylish whisky. On the nose, aromas of warm Jamaican ginger cake, candied orange peel and caramelised brown sugar beguile. On the palate it convinces with mocha, sugared almonds, tobacco leaves, peppercorns and orange peel. Leaves a lingering, satisfyingly sweet mouthfeel.
Top Recommandation – Best Whisky Shop 2025 Award

Highland-Speyside
